Each year I host a workshop in January - to share the tools that have helped me make the previous year a little more productive, happy and fulfilling.
This year’s theme is + SELF DIALOGUE + how we notice it, manage it, and use it to our advantage. I’ve teamed up with Sofia Lawrence who has over 10 years of experience helping individuals and groups explore what it means to live in flourishing and inspiring ways.
“How You Speak To Yourself Matters” is our 2 hour workshop where we will discuss and guide you through activities to wire your brain towards positivity.
The Rose Colored You Workshop consists of 3 parts:
Situational Awareness Jumpstart your journey to a rewarding inner narrative by understanding when, how, and why you are speaking to yourself.
Build Inner Dialogue Refine your awareness with tools and takeaways that you can use in your day-to-day life.
Create Your Ideal 2019 Envision and design your year ahead in a tactile way with your own Vision Board.
We’re all familiar with the phrase to see the world through rose colored glasses, to have an “optimistic perception of something; a positive opinion.”
But, what if you turned those glasses inward?
Who do you speak to the most in your everyday life? Most people wouldn’t immediately think “myself,” but the truth is, your inner narrative is the most frequent discourse you’ll ever maintain. Knowing this provides a power in its own – but to harness this power, one must take the steps to become aware of the tone of their self-dialogue, and furthermore, work to improve this crucial conversation to manifest positivity in their everyday lives.
The way you communicate with others dictates the nature of your relationships – this we all know, and controls the outcomes of these external interactions. So why is it that we so often overlook the way we communicate with ourselves - our internal self-dialogue - remaining unintentionally oblivious to this narrative that undeniably has the power to become a self-fulfilling prophecy?
We have thousands of daily thoughts; every single one is a chance to either build yourself up or tear yourself down. Imagine the power you could provide to yourself by being able to steer your thoughts towards building instead of breaking. By taking the steps to speak to yourself in a constructive way, you will also change the way you see the world and the world sees you.
We can’t wait to meet you,
+ Leslie & Sofia +
